Bitcoin in your Dbanq wallet
Hold, send and receive Bitcoin in the same non-custodial wallet as your other coins. Here is how Bitcoin addresses, fees and confirmations work, and what to check before you send.
Bitcoin works a little differently
Bitcoin is its own network, not one of the EVM chains. It has its own address format, its own fees and its own pace. Dbanq keeps your BTC in the same non-custodial wallet as your other coins, and only you hold the keys.
Addresses
A Bitcoin address usually starts with bc1. Use the exact address Dbanq shows for Bitcoin, and never send BTC to an address on another network, such as Ethereum or Solana.
Fees and confirmations
Bitcoin fees depend on how busy the network is, not on the amount you send. Dbanq shows the network fee and the estimated time before you approve. A transfer is complete only once the network confirms it, and until then it shows as pending.
Before you send BTC
- Check that the network is Bitcoin.
- Use the exact address shown, starting with bc1.
- Review the amount, the network fee and the estimated time.
- Approve only when every detail matches.
Pending is not complete: a Bitcoin transfer is done only once the network confirms it.
Swapping and spending
You can swap BTC for another coin, such as USDC, and Dbanq shows the rate, fees and estimated time first. Card payments use USDC, so swap first if you want to spend by card.
